World of Hyatt has launched a targeted promotion that is quite lucrative… but only if you are lucky enough to have been chosen.
The promotion will run from November 1, 2021 until January 14, 2022.
Members are being emailed directly (if eligible), but two separate versions are circulating online:
- Receive 12,000 bonus points after every five nights, up to 120,000 bonus points; register here
- Receive 30,000 bonus points after every 10 nights, up to 150,000 bonus points; register here
The first offer essentially works out to 2,400 bonus points per night. At my typical valuation of 1.2 – 1.3 pence per point, that’s a pretty impressive rebate of ~£30 per night.
The second offer is more lucrative, but obviously requires a much higher commitment (in terms of nights). But those 3,000 points per night could be worth ~£37.
As always with Hyatt, you can earn these bonus points when redeeming free night certificates or points.
Not targeted?
The problem with targeted promotions is that news spreads fast online – and not being targeted tends to leave a pretty bad taste in your mouth.
Moreover, this lucrative but targeted promotion, means that we are highly unlikely to see an open-to-all, chain-wide promotion until February 2022 at the earliest.
Even if you were unable to register using the links above, I wouldn’t give up hope just yet. It is very odd to be emailing members about a promotion 3/4 days after it had already started. So maybe there are some IT glitches being worked on behind the scenes.
Alternatively, if you are a Globalist with a Concierge, it definitely won’t hurt to send an email and see if anything can be done…
