As you hopefully all know by now, earning Nectar points means you’re earning Avios (and vice versa), with one Nectar point worth 0.625 Avios, and one Avios worth 1.6 Nectar points.

As a result, we keep a keen look out for Nectar bonus opportunities and, as this post demonstrates, they are not just limited to Sainsburys.

The Current Opportunities

First of all, Argos is offering 3 X Nectar points on online or in-store spend. That means you’ll get 3 Nectar points per £1 spend with them. This promotion runs till 1 June.

Next up, you can get 6 X Nectar points on ebay on any transaction of £15+ on or before 31 May. That’s a very healthy return of 6 Nectar points per £1 spent, although it’s not as generous as past offers.

Note that in both cases, you do need to ensure that your Nectar account is linked to an Argos or ebay account. You can find out how to do that via the links to the promotions above.

With a Nectar point basically worth 0.5p, the above bonuses effectively amount to a 1.5% rebate at Argos and a 3% rebate at ebay. Not mind-blowingly generous, but certainly a worthwhile saving if you plan on making purchases at either retailer anyway.
