I spotted a decent new Qatar Airways offer on my Amex Gold yesterday: Spend £500 and get £100 back:

“Save to card to get a £100 statement credit when you spend £500 or more online at Qatar Airways when you book by 15 May 2021.  Valid once per Card for the first 10,000 Cardmembers to save. Terms and Conditions apply.”

The key terms are as follows:

• Offer only available Online, at http://www.qatarairways.com, until 15 May 2021.
• Only one £100 statement credit per qualifying UK Card.
• Offer only valid on flights departing from the UK.

How to register for American Express offers

If you have an American Express card issued directly by American Express, simply login to your American Express online account, scroll down to the “offers” tab and then click on “save to card” when you see the relevant offer.

Bottom line

£100 of £500 spend is a pretty hefty rebate, if you are currently considering making a booking for later in the year/next year. Just remember that the offer only applies to flights departing from the UK.
