Emirates is taking further steps to bring the service on board, at least for premium class passengers, back to ‘normal’.

Starting this week, the iconic onboard showers for First Class passengers and bar for First and Business Class passengers will be available again. Naturally, the airline is still taking extra hygiene measures and limiting the number of visitors at the bar at a given time. The company already has special staff on board to clean the showers and toilets.

Other aspects of ‘normal’ premium service are also being resumed, on all aircraft types. In First Class, for example, a social area is again set up at the front of the cabin and  drinks from the full drinks list will be poured at passengers’ seats.

In both First and Business Class a turndown service is also available again, and the round of drinks with nuts prior to the meal service is also resumed.
