Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer loyalty programme often sends out little birthday gifts/discounts to members during their birthday months. I recently received the following offer for shopping online at KrisShop.com:

“It’s your birthday month and a time for celebration! As we wish you many happy returns, here’s a little treat from us, to help celebrate your special day.

Enjoy an exclusive birthday offer from KrisShop.com from now till 31 August 2020. Shop from the comfort of your home and have your purchases delivered straight to your doorstep. Simply enter the promo code (removed) at checkout to receive SGD10 off a minimum spend of SGD100.”

Conclusion

Delivery is only available within Singapore or in-flight, so I very much doubt I’ll be able to take advantage of the offer this time. I do normally like to stock up on a few duty free bottles though when travelling to Singapore, given the price of booze there.

Although the specific offer is of limited value to me right now, the broader point is that it can pay to click on promotional emails from airline and hotel programmes, particularly during your birthday month.
