Emirates is planning to bring back some of its Airbus A380s into service as early as July. In doing so, they show that the aircraft continues to have a future in the company and that demand is starting to reappear.
On 15 July 2020, Emirates will start flying its Airbus A380 on the Dubai-London route, as well as between Dubai and Paris.
Emirates now flies to more than 40 destinations and is currently adding new ones almost weekly.
Even in normal times, Summer is not exactly the most optimal season to visit Dubai, as the temperature is on the hot side. But hopefully by the Autumn it might be a more attractive option.
Not everything is like before
Not everything will be the same as it was pre-covid. If you are lucky enough to fly with Emirates in Business Class, then you will find that the Lounge area is closed down.
If you are among the few who fly First Class, one of the significant negative changes is that the opportunity to take a shower onboard is currently unavailable.
Naturally, there is also a full range of PPE and extra hygiene measures. Despite that, Emirates is aiming to keep onboard service as close to ‘normal’ as possible.
