I also heard from a friend who received an email offering an upgrade from Platinum to Spire status for next year, so it seems IHG has a few interesting promotions going on

Conclusion

I haven’t received anything myself yet, but will certainly be keeping a close eye on my emails for the next few weeks. These gifts are remarkably generous, so it’s definitely worth taking 30 seconds to check whether you have been targeted. I imagine the focus will be on members who have spent a lot with IHG this year, but you never know.
