American Express has just released another interesting statement credit offer for at least some cardholders. This time you can get £200 back when spending £1800+ on Emirates Business or First Class tickets.

Note that Economy and Premium Economy are not included, and that the flights must be “direct flights departing from an UK airport”. Also, you need to book on the Emirates website here by 27 November 2019.

How to register for American Express offers

If you have an American Express card issued directly by American Express (Amex Gold/Platinum, SPG, BA/BAPP etc), simply login to your American Express online account, scroll down to the “offers” tab and then click on “save to card” when you see the relevant offer.

Offers are targeted, so not every cardholder will receive every offer. I found the Emirates offer on my Amex Gold, but couldn’t see it on my British Airways Amex.

Conclusion

It is always worth keeping an eye on the Amex offers. £200 is a decent saving on an £1800 flight – just over 11%.
