Have you ever wondered what the cheapest IHG hotel in the UK is? – Maybe you want to economically complete some ‘Accelerate’ targets, or maybe you’re just curious. Regardless, I think I MIGHT have found the winner…
I wrote recently about how it is still possible to take advantage of IHG’s excellent ‘Partner Rate’ promotion to knock £££s off the cost of hotel stays at brands like Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn. While looking up some options using the rate myself yesterday, one particular price leapt out at me:
Yes, for the princely sum of £21.60 per night you can regularly book the Holiday Inn Express Bradford City Centre on Sunday nights throughout the Autumn and Winter. Being a Holiday Inn Express, you’d even get breakfast included too!
To be clear, these rates definitely do earn IHG Rewards Club Points according to the Rate Description (and therefore count towards status or any bonus promotions that IHG might be running):
I have actually used this hotel to ‘mattress run’ promotions in the past, but can’t recall it being quite so cheap (though I could be wrong).
Bottom line
Is the Holiday Inn Express Bradford really the cheapest IHG hotel in the UK? I think £21.60 is certainly going to be tough to beat – but if anyone can find a better deal, it’s InsideFlyer readers…
Let me know in the comments if you’ve come across something even cheaper!
