NH Hotel Group’s NH Rewards loyalty programme is currently offering an interesting offer to new members: Stay once and get a free night (up to the value of ~£88/100 Euros).

What do I need to do to get the free night?

1. Sign up to NH Rewards while booking.
2. Stay at an NH Hotel before the end of the year.
3. You’ll receive €100 in gift points

Crucially, note the restriction that you have to use your 100 gift points to stay with NH again within the following 30 days (you must have checked out), or they expire!

NH Hotels?

Spanish chain with decent coverage in some other parts of Europe and Latin America too. Generally quite affordable 3*/4* hotels, so the £88 (100 Euros) rebate is significant. The only UK option is the NH Hotel Kensington in London, which can be booked for under £100 on some dates:

Anything else?

The terms state that “Promotions with gift points cannot be accumulated” and that, “The 100 gift points substitute the 5 welcome gift for new members”, but you might get lucky and pick up 5 bonus points for booking online and the standard 5.5% rebate, though I wouldn’t bank on it.

Conclusion

If you happen to be passing through somewhere with a decent NH Hotel option before the end of the year and could make use of the bonus points within the 30 day expiry period, this is a genuinely superb offer. I just wish the terms were a little less restrictive and that they had more UK properties!

Terms

• Offer valid for new NH Rewards members that sign up to the program and make one stay at our hotels between the 06/11/2018 and the 31/12/2018.
• A stay within that period is mandatory. After checking out of your stay you will receive 100 gift points (= €100) to be used on your following stay in the next 30 days.
• The check-out of your following stay must take place during those 30 days.
• After that date, they will expire, and you may no longer use them.
• If the total amount of that stay is more than €100 you will have to pay for the difference.
• Points are valid as a discount in bookings with rates that allow payment with points and in hotels belonging to the NH Rewards program.
