Bottom line

It’s nice to bag a little bonus whenever possible but I’d take this one with a pinch of salt: using the promo code inflated the room rate marginally in some dummy bookings I tried, so be sure to compare the promo vs the non-promo rate before booking. It’s also a shame that the cheaper brands – like Moxy and Courtyard – are excluded.

And the t&cs suggest that this one does not stack with the global 750 bonus per night promo. If the price is right however, earning 3,000 points through this promo is obviously better on a weekend stay than the lousy 750 points Marriott is offering otherwise.
