Accor Hotels (Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, etc) regularly offers very generous cashback rates through sites like Quidco and TopCashback. 15% is fairly common, but right now you can get up to 20% cashback at Accor Hotels by stacking a couple of deals – and benefit from an additional £10 bonus if you are new to Quidco too.
How to get (up to) 20% cashback at Accor hotels
First, sign into your Quidco account. If you don’t already have one, sign up here and you should receive an additional £10 bonus on top of the 20% cashback!
Next, head to this page here to opt in for the current £10 ‘Travel Bonus’
This offer gives you a £10 bonus when you spend £200+ with any of the following travel companies “before midnight on 6th February” (it’s unclear whether they really mean the offer ends at 23:59 on the 5th Feb – tonight – or if they mean it finishes tomorrow):
- Expedia
- TUI
- Hotels.com
- HomeAway
- Lastminute.com
- eBookers
- SuperBreak
- Accorhotels
As you can see, Accor isn’t the only potentially interesting option on the list – Hotels.com in particular might also be worth considering. Note that the £10 travel bonus only applies to one transaction of £200+ – you can’t take advantage of it multiple times.
£10 is 5% of £200 – what about the other 15%?
Easy – just head to the Accor page on the Quidco website and you should see the following rates for the different hotel brands:
If you spent exactly £200 on a Pullman, Sofitel, MGallery, Grand Mercure or Sebel booking, you’d end up with a rebate of 20% in total.
If you spent more or stayed at one of the brands with a lower cashback rate, you’d be looking at receiving less as a percentage, but would still net yourself a very healthy rebate.
As clicking through to Accor from a cashback website still counts as a direct booking, you would also earn Le Club Accor Points and receive any status benefits too.
Bottom line
We always say that stacking deals together is the way to make big savings on your travels – this is a nice opportunity to do exactly that if you have some Accor stays you need to book.
