What is the (Tier) Point?

Well… Royal Jordanian has a decent enough Business Class and without any real difficulty I managed to find Business Class fares from London to any of Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Hong Kong for approximately £1,200 return.

Besides a reasonable Business Class fare for a winter escape to Asia, the London to Amman flight is longer than 2,000 miles, as is the flight from Amman to Bangkok, etc. As a result, your return trip will earn you 560 Tier Points with British Airways Executive Club.

Travel Hacking Paradise

Unfortunately you only have a few hours left to book, but I’ve only just scratched the surface with a simple return trip from London. I’m sure that there are any number of ex-EU (or ex-Cairo) options that are cheaper – perhaps even one-ways – that you could use to pick up some Tier Points even more cheaply.

But if you are tempted by a Tier Point-friendly holiday to the Far East, you have a few hours left to grab yourself a bargain…
