In what I’m sure will be the first of many similar promotions from other companies in the run up to the festive season, Virgin Atlantic’s ‘Shops Away’ shopping portal will be offering double Miles at a range of retailers from tomorrow.

The promotion is due to run between 13 November until 22 December 2017 and involves the following retailers:

• NET-A-PORTER
• Lookfantastic.com

4 Miles per £1 at Apple, or 9 Miles per £1 at Selfridges, for example, could be a decent little kickback. You can find the full list of bonus rate here.

Conclusion

Always remember to quickly check what the cashback sites and the BA/Avios shopping portals etc are offering too, as there might be other promos that offer better value for some retailers, despite Virgin offering double Miles.

Terms

1. The bonus miles offer is valid between the dates stated above.

2. This offer is only valid with the following selected retailers: House of Fraser, M&S, ASOS, Apple, Currys PC World, Selfridges, NET-A-PORTER, and Lookfantastic.com.

3. If we believe that any form of misconduct has occurred we may not award or may remove any Flying Club miles from your account.

4. Members have up to 90 days to make a claim for missing miles. All claims are resolved by us at our sole discretion.

5, Flying Club miles are only awarded on purchases made online with third party retailers featured on the Flying Club Online Shopping Shops Away site or through the Shops Away Mile Finder.

6. Tier Points will not be awarded for any purchase.

7. UK Flying Club members earn miles on every GBP pound spent and US Flying Club members earn miles on every USD spent. Purchases need to be in local currencies.

8. In order to earn miles the shopping transaction needs to be in the name of the Flying Club members.

9. We reserve the right to cancel any Flying Club miles awarded to you in respect of a purchase, which you subsequently cancel (i.e. if you didn’t pay for or later returned the goods and/or services for which the miles were awarded).
