Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan is one of InsideFlyer UK’s favourite airline programmes, so much so that Joe and I write about it frequently.
The short answer to why we love it so much can be seen in this graphic:
Even though many of us have grown accustomed to the major airline alliances – Oneworld, Star Alliance and Skyteam – Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan cuts through that and partners with just about anybody…
If you’re not yet a member of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, however, now might be the time to sign up. Mileage Plan is offering 5,000 bonus miles for those who sign up for an account before 31 July, 2017.
There is a catch, however… You must fly on Alaska Airlines or Virgin America (no codeshares) before 30 September, 2017 and obviously credit that flight to your new Mileage Plan account.
This will obviously require a trip to North America, most likely a trip to the West Coast. You can look at the route map for inspiration by clicking here. So, it’s not quite free miles…
But if you’re not already a member of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan and have a summer holiday to North America planned, then perhaps now is the time to join Joe and I in the Alaska Airlines fan club and check it out for yourself…
