Good deal?
Norwegian usually has good fares direct from the UK to the USA anyway, so any additional discount is great to see.
I’ve just a quick look through the offers, but there seem to be plenty of solid options, with direct Return flights available from a little over £200, and you can do even better with a bit of mixing and matching:
Belfast – Newburgh (New York State) one-way: £91.30
Providence (Rhode Island) to Edinburgh one-way: £74.90
Boston to London Gatwick one-way: £91.00
Note that the Premium Class fare is just £274.90 too, which seems very good value.
Availability isn’t at all bad on some of the routes, and even includes peak Summer Holiday dates:
It is worth pointing out that Norwegian sometimes offers better prices even without a promotion, if you can book quite far in advance – for example, Providence to Edinburgh in January can be booked for as little as £63.80 one-way!
Bottom line
I’ve flown overnight on Norwegian in ‘no-frills’ Economy from New York to London and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again, assuming the price was good. I’m not sure how I’d feel about flights longer than about 8 hours though, particularly overnight.
The Norwegian Easter Sale has some solid bargains and the cheapest fares will probably get snapped up fairly quickly, so I’d recommend acting fast if you find dates and prices that suit you!
