We’ve given a fair bit of publicity to TopCashback recently, not least in light of our current £10 (or 1250 Avios) sign-up bonus for simply joining and spending £10 at any retailer on the site.
However, Quidco is another very good cashback option for money back on every day spend, including a number of travel-related retailers.
I’m a member of both TopCashback and Quidco, and I’ll always compare cashback rates available on the two sites. There’s also certain occasions when cashback is available with certain retailers on one but not the other.
There’s also currently an added incentive for signing up to Quidco. Join via this link, and you’ll get a sizeable £15 bonus when you earn your first £5 in cashback. UPDATE: Bonus is now £10. While straightforward, that’s not quite as easy to bag as our TopCashback bonus, which simply requires one £10 spend (as opposed to a cashback threshold to be reached). However, given that we strongly recommend you join both cashback sites, this is a good time to add Quidco to your portfolio if you haven’t done so already.
Bear in mind that, unlike TopCashback, you can’t cash your Quidco cashback out as Avios at the 25% bonus rate. However, whether you should do that anyway is open to debate.
Anything else?
Yes – worth bearing in mind that TopCashback do have a “highest cashback guarantee”, where they’ll match and give you up to 5% cashback bonus if you find more cashback elsewhere.
That’s certainly worth bearing in mind, although at £10 and £15, your initial aim should be to land both the TopCashback and the Quidco bonuses.
