As part of its “January Sale”, online cashback site Quidco is currently offering a £10 bonus, plus the standard cashback, on stays at Holiday Inn, Accor, Marriott and Travelodge hotels.

To benefit, you need to first join Quidco if you haven’t already, and then “opt in” to the £10 Quidco promotion via this link.

You then need to book online at Holiday Inn, Marriott, Travelodge or Accor Hotels via Quidco, and make a purchase of £50 or more by 23:59pm UK time on 25 January, 2017. So be quick!

Note that in addition to the £10 straight cash, you’ll also get cashback on the booking at the following rates:

• Holiday Inn – 8% (or 15% at a select few hotels).

• Marriott – 7% for non-members of Marriott Rewards, 5% for members.

• Travelodge – 2% (UK hotels only).

• Accor – 3% to 15%, depending on the brand.

For IHG hotels, does this only apply to Holiday Inn?

A good question, and the IHG logo in the graphic featured above is a touch misleading if this is the case.

However, the terms and conditions do confirm that this Quidco promotion is limited to Holiday Inn only:

Participation is by eligible account holders making a cashback qualifying purchase at either Holiday Inn, Marriott, Travelodge or Accor Hotels, and opting in via the link on the promotion page

I’m not sure if that’s just an editorial oversight and you’ll in fact get the £10 bonus at all IHG hotels booked before the end of 25 January. Certainly it’s worth trying – I’ve booked a Crowne Plaza through the promotion, and we’ll see where that gets me.

The worst case scenario if you book via this promotion is that you “only” get 8-15% cashback at a (non-Holiday Inn) IHG hotel, which is still the best cashback rate out there.
