Following last month’s ‘highest ever’ cashback for Accor Hotels (Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis etc), TopCashback has now boosted the rate even further – up to an incredible 17.25%
TopCashback credit transfers to Avios with a 25% bonus, so 17.25% cashback can actually get you 21.5 Avios per £1 spent. That’s a pretty incredible rebate just from the cashback!
The boosted rates end tomorrow, so coincide quite nicely with the current set of ‘Happy Mondays’ rates that must also be booked by tomorrow.
There is actually a way to increase this rate to almost 25%… Quidco is offering price match with twice the difference. Quidco’s to rate is currently 10.1%. This means that the difference is 7.15%. Doubling it beings the total cash back to 24.4%.

Great idea, but we checked this out for a previous post and it’s not quite as good as that sadly. I think I’m right in saying (this is from memory so could be wrong on the details!) that in the small print, Quidco say they only boost travel related rate matches by 10% of the difference, so it’d be about 18% rather than 25%. Could still be worth doing for an expensive stay though, if you’d rather have cash than Avios anyway.
