There’s a new RocketMiles bonus offer for 3,000 extra Miles of your choice for your first booking.

You need to book by the end of Friday (21st October 2016), but the reservation can be for whenever you like.

The bonus applies to almost all of the huge variety of loyalty programmes that RocketMiles partners with, including British Airways Avios and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

RocketMiles bonuses can also be a good way to collect a big chunk of Miles with programmes like American AAdvantage, United Mileage Plus, Alaska Mileage Plan, Virgin America Elevate etc, which have some great award chart sweetspots but can be tricky to earn substantial amounts of Miles with from the UK.

The standard earning rate with RocketMiles (for most partners) is at least 1,000 Miles per day, so with the bonus you can earn 4,000 Miles from a one-day stay!

RocketMiles rates are often a bit higher than the cheapest rates you can find elsewhere online (so do shop around!), but if you value the Miles, then these bonus offers (usually) more than offset the extra cost. It makes most sense when you have a one-night stay in a relatively cheap part of the world – and even more so if you’re going to be there out of season or on a less popular day of the week (generally weekends for business-heavy destinations, weekdays for more leisure focused places).

For example, I had a quick look at a Monday night in Prague next month and easily found rates for under £45.00.

If you value Avios (or other Miles) at about 1p each, then the stay is almost free!

Bottom Line

These regular RocketMiles bonus offers are very generous and well worth taking advantage of if you need a short stay somewhere cheap.
