Hyatt Gold Passport has just launched their Autumn promotion, ‘More Points More Play’ – and it’s potentially a very good one. You can earn up to 75,000 Bonus Points if you spend 25 nights at Hyatt hotels over the eligible period (1st September – 30th November).
The bonuses are staggered, starting with 5,000 Bonus Points after 5 nights, and become progressively more generous the more nights you stay, as you can see:
Hyatt Gold Passport Points are valuable (1,000 are worth about £10-£15 to me) so the bonus at the top end of the scale is considerable.
You can take a look at Hyatt’s award chart below:
Even Category 1 includes some great hotels like the Park Hyatt Chennai, where 75,000 Points would get you 15 free nights!
At the higher end, 75,000 Points could get you 3 nights at the stunning Category 6 Park Hyatt Maldives.
If you have a lot of international travel coming up, this might well be the most generous promotion from the major hotel loyalty programmes this Autumn.
The problem for most of us here in the UK though is simply the lack of Hyatt properties in the country, with relatively few in the rest of Europe too. Hyatt also doesn’t really have a genuine budget brand like IHG’s Holiday Inn Express or Hampton by Hilton, so it can be more difficult to find cheap stays.
It is also worth emphasising that this promotion only runs until the end of November (rather than until the end of the year, like most of the other ‘Autumn’ promotions), which makes 25 nights even harder to hit.
If you’ve got a lot of hotel stays coming up this Autumn and Hyatt is an option, then good luck to you – this is a great promotion! Personally, I’m back at a Holiday Inn tonight (again)…
