We’ve made a lot of the superb value that is regularly offered by Qatar Airways. And they are at it again. This time, they’re offering some incredibly low prices on flights from Helsinki (Finland) to the Thai destinations of Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket. Abu Dhabi and Dubai also come in at a remarkable £664/£672.

Booking, it seems, needs to be made by no later than the end of 16 May, and travel is basically from Autumn 2016 until April 2017 (although some of the steep discounts only start in December 2016).

Prices to the Thai destinations in Business Class return, and some interesting additional options, are as follows:

• Dubai – £672
• Bangkok – £1076
• Krabi – £960
• Delhi – £1018
• Phuket – £1037
• Ho Chi Minh City – £1100
• Adelaide – £1760

It’s probably reasonable to assume most of you are not based in Helsinki. Don’t let that pout you off. Simply take a cheap re-positioning flight there and you will save yourself a fortune on the ex-UK Business Class price. We always thoroughly recommend trying to make a weekend of it in these circumstances and Helsinki is, of course, a great destination.

Norwegian, for example, offer some incredibly cheap flights between Gatwick and Helsinki. BA flights can also be surprisingly good value too.
