Finnair consistently offers excellent value on Business Class trips to Asia. Indeed, outside of any “mega-sale” elsewhere, the Finnair Business Class price list is generally one of my very first reference points for long-haul flights from the UK.
In addition to this, Finnair runs regular special offers. Indeed, until 12 May 2016, you can get even better value as a result of a number of special offers on certain routes from the UK, with long-haul Business Class to China starting at just £1,229 (Bangkok is £1,339).
The Finnair Business Class sale options are as follows (prices quoted are for return flights):
- Xi’an £1,229
- Chongqing £1,249
- Delhi £1,279
- Bangkok £1,310
- Beijing £1,339
- Guangzhou £1,345
- Krabi £1,375
- Phuket £1,380
- Seoul £1,385
- Singapore £1,465
Availability at these prices is currently excellent. Here’s Bangkok in June, for example:
And, similarly, here it is in August – i.e. peak “school holiday” season!:
While this is not quite a sale to rival those occasionally offered by the likes of Qatar, these are still very good value for long-haul Business Class with a high quality carrier. I generally regard any sub-£1500 Business Class flight to Thailand as good value, so £1,310 to Bangkok is a great price.
Finnair is also offering some very reasonably priced long-haul Economy Class flights, as follows (prices quoted are for return flights):
- Beijing £445
- Chongqing £445
- Guangzhou £445
- Xi’an £445
- Bangkok £449
- Seoul £449
- Singapore £450
- Delhi £469
As noted above, you need to book by 12 May 2016. The travel window is less tight: generally speaking you can fly any time between 9 May and December 2016 (the exact day in December will depend on your destination).
Don’t forget that as a Oneworld member, you can also earn Avios (and BA Tier Points) on Finnair flights, should you wish.
