British Airways and Iberia’s sister company, the lesser-known Vueling has just launched its “January sale”: and it’s impressive, offering two flights for the price of one on all flight routes.
To benefit, you need to book today or tomorrow (7 or 8 January, 2016) using the promo code SALE2X1, and fly between 12 January and 3 February 2016. So a tight booking window and not the most extended of travel periods – but certainly long enough for this to be of use to many, not least with Vueling’s ever-increasing number of routes to/from the UK.
Remember, of course, that you can also earn Avios points on Vueling flights.
In addition to those noted above, the key terms to be aware of are as follows:
- The promo code only applies to bookings made under the Optima or Basic Fare
- Max 2 passengers per booking
- The discount applies to the base fare. It does not apply to airport taxes, card payment fees or the cost of any supplementary services.
Pronouncing Vueling
Don’t say we don’t cover the important stuff.
An important factor in becoming more familiar with Vueling is knowing how to pronounce it. For years I pronoumced it “view-ling”, but according to the Spanish babysitter it’s “vwelling” (or, if you want to go really Spanish, “bwelling”).
