The Winter British Airways sale has just begun. Running until 2 February 2016, there are certainly some decent value flights included – and some real bargains if you’re prepared to be a little flexible.
As ever, the principal value is in the Business Class sale, with a number of sub-£1500 long-haul returns. However, start your flight from Ireland and you’ll find a number of long-haul Business Class options at the sub-£1000 level. For business class travel, that’s superb value.
The sale applies to Economy Class, Business Class and First Class flights. Travel is generally for most of 2016 (save for the Dublin flights, which are largely Spring and Summer 2016), and you can view the full UK terms and conditions here.

But I don’t live in Ireland!
A fair riposte for many of you, but at these prices, you will still be saving a fortune by taking a positioning flight to Dublin and flying on from there. Ryanair, of course, can be used to very good effect here.
In any event, if you’re put off by the Dublin element, don’t lose sigh of the great value flights available from the UK, as outlined above.
