Hilton’s latest quarterly promotion is now upon us. It’s a straightforward one this time: you will either earn double Hilton HHonors points or airline miles on stays from 1 March to 31 May 2015 – you can choose which, but you will need to register for the promo.

Hilton ordinarily lets you “double dip” on your points earning: you can either earn Hilton points (and bonus Hilton points), or Hilton points and airline miles. Accordingly, the “doubling up” for this promo works as follows:

Points and points: Standard earning is 10 base points, plus an additional 5 bonus points per eligible US dollar spent. Under the promotion, you will earn 20 base points plus an additional 5 bonus points per US dollar.

Points and miles: Standard earning is 10 Base Points, plus 1 mile per eligible US dollar spent (although some airlines offer more miles). Under the promotion, you will earn 10 base points plus an additional 2 (or more) miles per US dollar.

(Note that base HHonors points are halved at Home2Suites)
