    ...and BA taketh away.

Transaction date Posted date Description Tier Points Avios
    16-Dec-15 17-Dec-15 Miscellaneous - Avios Correction 0 -480
    30-Nov-15 11-Dec-15 Miscellaneous - 20% Bonus Offer 0 480

No idea what that was about.
My only matching transaction on that date was a minor hotel>Avios transfer.

Try looking in the BA mobile app - that normally seems to show more details than the website

I did hear something about everyone getting 480 avios from the Tesco clubcard conversion, rather than the correct 20% bonus, could it be that?

    Nothing new in the app.
20% = 480 means the initial transaction would be for 2400 avios.
I've had no transactions for that amount.
It might be a Tesco thing.
No point crying over spilt, invisible milk.

So it appears that this all relates to the Clubcard to BAEC 20% bonus.

As Gagravarr notes, for whatever reason, BA gave everyone a bonus of 480 Avios, regardless of what their actual bonus should have been - seems they have now replaced the 480 Avios with whatever you should in fact have got.

So - Gnarly Old Goat Dude - if you made a transfer benefiting from the 20% bonus, you should have now received exactly that: if not, chase it up.

Yes. I'm good. My bonus ties back perfectly to my latest Tesco deposit.
However, I did end up with a 120% bonus, as my original Tesco conversion posted twice.

I send my Tesco to my Avios (ex-Airmiles) account, but have had no bonus!

This bonus was a BA Executive Club promo, rather than ex-Airmiles Avios.

I appreciate the value of a common currency across programs but why call the currency and one of the programs the same thing? Can only serve to confuse us!
