Following early retirement from my profession as a tax manager for a multi-national bank I was not tempted to find alternative employment as I have a decent pension and frankly, I was happy to be free of the disciplines of work.
I can now spend more time and money on my love of travel. My wife's family live in the Philippines so that is our destination twice a year with Singapore Air being our preferred carrier.
I prefer to avoid using "budget" airlines in Europe and would rather pay a small premium to use a full service airline.
