I've managed to get a First class seat with All Nippon Airways using Virgin Atlantic flying club miles.

Suppose I use Flying Club miles now to book a Delta flight for December, 8 months from now, and Virgin Atlantic goes bust in June. Do I still have my booking on that Delta flight?

I've managed to secure an Upper Class ticket on Virgin's Airbus A330-200 that features a new Upper Class layout. They layout consists of a 1-2-1 configuration in a brand new cabin.

The seats look pretty cool and I've booked a solo suite.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had a chance to travel in such a cabin and how it compares to the traditional pods.

I'm hoping the experience will be just as good in a new setting.

If anyone has any thoughts please share!

Since Virgin Atlantic introduced their credit card managed by Virgin Money I was advised that the time frame before being able to sign up again was 3 months, after having had a sneaky conversation with them. I had managed to re-sign up shortly after 3 months so this seemed to be true.

However, on my recent attempt this does not seem to be true. So either I've been black listed, my credit is no longer good enough or they've changed the time frame you can re-apply. In contrast...

Air France / KLM have now merged with Virgin Atlantic. There is now the ability to earn Virgin Atlantic miles on these airlines. This is reflected on the Virgin Atlantic's partner page. However, it does not yet show any option to redeem Virgin Miles with these airlines.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether this will happen at some point and if Air France Le Premier class will be a possibility?
