Qatar Airways is back with more superb Business Class fares from Europe (this time from Stockholm) to Asia, including return flights to Singapore for as little as £1044 per person:
Note that these are companion fares so you’ll have to book for 2 people to get the best deals. The fares should be available until 6 May 2019 for travel through to 15 April 2020 (thought there will be some black out dates I imagine).

If you prefer to book direct with Qatar Airways rather than through an online travel agency, you can do so here. The prices may be a little higher, but you can take advantage of Qatar’s generous stopover programme that way (5* hotels for £40.50!).
Where should I credit Qatar Business Class flights?
These fares book into fare class ‘R’, which means you should earn 100%-125% of flown miles, depending on the programme you decide to credit to.
For many readers, I would suggest that British Airways Executive Club (BAEC) is a good option for these particular flights. Although some of the other types of miles available are more valuable than Avios, you’re not going to miss out on a huge haul here, and the real beauty of crediting Qatar Business Class flights to BAEC is the amount of status ‘Tier Points’ you rack up. Stockholm to Singapore (via Doha) would earn 560 Tier Points – almost enough for BAEC Silver status – as well as ~17,000 Avios.

JAL Mileage Bank could also be a good option if you’re into more ‘exotic’ Miles.
Bottom line
Qatar Airways continues to provide extremely good Business Class fares at the same time as offering what is widely regarded as the best Business Class in the sky. When you add the ability to earn Avios and BA Executive Club Tier Points too, having to hop over to Stockholm to start your trip can be well worth the effort!
I can’t see anything like these prices for Q1 2020. They’re showing for some days in early July and again on odd days in October and possibly other dates but they look like they’re not that easy to find.
Hi Oxonlad – Which destination are you looking for and what sort of fares are you seeing? I can see availability to Singapore at very similar prices pretty much wide open all the way through to end of March 2020 (with admittedly less in summer holidays and none for most of Dec/1st week of Jan).
I was looking at Stockholm to Singapore for mid Jan 2020 returning early March and looked at all the dates using the 15 day calendar on Qatar with nothing showing less than about £1900/person (£3800/couple). I tried Expedia as well but had similar results.
Ah I see, yeah looks like the blackouts are affecting that. I haven’t checked Singapore itself, but there are some superb bargains to Asia (like Hong Kong for £998 per person return) and you can always use Avios or Air Asia/Scoot/etc to fly cheaply regionally.
Admittedly Swiss and Lufthansa aren’t Qatar, but they’re both decent and you can fly from LON/MAN/BHX/EDI/GLA.
Star Alliance though, so no Tier Points if you’re after BA status.
