This offer has been mentioned on the InsideFlyer forum for awhile, but it merits a write-up on the full blog since you can receive 500 or 750 FREE miles from Lufthansa Miles & More.

All you need to do is sign up to Verimi – a German digital identity platform. Quite frankly, I struggle to see the benefit for end users, even after reading the FAQ – but you can earn at least 500 free miles for signing up.

Step 1 – Sign up with a valid email address, as you will need to confirm registration.

Step 2 – Add your Lufthansa Miles & More account details. You will immediately receive 250 miles.

Step 3 – Add your Date of Birth and home address.  Let’s just say that there are no checks to ensure that you have provided correct details. 😉

Step 4 – Add your mobile phone number. Here you will need to enter a valid number, as you will receive a text message with a verification code. Once you’ve followed the text message instructions, you will receive an additional 250 miles straight away.

The final 250 miles comes if you are willing to upload a photo of your passport or identity card to Verimi. This is something I am not willing to do, but you might think otherwise…

500 instant, free miles is pretty good for five minutes of effort, so it’s probably worth signing up to Verimi today…
