Thanks to American Express, (some) cardholders can currently get £100 off Marriott hotel stays in Europe!

A quick glance at the list of participating hotels shows that dozens (all?) Marriott’s UK hotels are included, as well as scores of others throughout Europe.

The offer is valid until 31st January 2019 (note that the charge must have actually hit your card by then), but the terms aren’t entirely clear about whether the spend has to be made in one transaction, or if the £500 is cumulative. I would guess it’s cumulative, but don’t bank on that.

Conclusion

These offers tend to be targeted (they aren’t on all my cards), so you might not have all of them on your accounts. That said, it’s great to see Amex continue to offer these promotions – I’ll certainly be looking to use the Marriott one.
