£3 cashback can, of course, be converted to 315 Avios if you prefer miles to money. Given the value you can get through other TCB transfer options these days though, I wouldn’t really recommend transferring cashback to Avios anymore. That said, you are paying (slightly) less than 1p per Avios if you do, so it is certainly not the worst deal ever.

A warning about this. I made a £10.99 purchase at HMV, but the VAT part was not tracked (£1.83) so it didn’t qualify for the bonus. Make sure your purchase tracks as £10 by spending at least 12 quid.

Agree. Too late to help you, but I always add 20% to the target price. On this occasion I paid £900 on a hotel stay, so I’m fairly confident I’ll meet the threshold…
It wasn’t a problem – I just cancelled the first order and added something extra to make sure it tracked, which it did. Easy to make the purchase and forget about it, though.
