9% IHG Cashback at All Brands (Holiday Inn, Etc) – Plus £10 Sign Up Credit

Quidco is currently offering 9% IHG cashback on stays at all IHG brands.

Although we regularly see higher rates (up to 15%!) for IHG’s premium brands like Intercontinental, it’s not often possible to get rates anywhere near as high as 9% for Holiday Inn Express bookings.

If you want to stay at an Intercontinental, Hotel Indigo, or Crowne Plaza (and don’t need to book soon), my advice is to wait for a higher cashback rate to turn up, but for any other brand you’re unlikely to do much better. For Holiday Inn Express in particular, 9% is excellent.

Sign up to Quidco and get an extra £10 bonus

If you don’t have a Quidco account yet, sign up using the link below and you’ll get an additional £10 bonus after spending just £5 with any retailer (including IHG of course!).

Here’s how to claim your £10 bonus…

  1. Join Quidco – it’s free!
  2. Once you are signed up and logged in, you can search 4,500+ retailers who will all offer you cashback on your purchase.
  3. If you make a purchase costing £5+ with any retailer by the end of the month, you’ll receive a £10 cashback bonus

Heads up: You’ll first receive a percentage of cashback from the retailer you shop with which will track in your account within 72 hours. The £10 Quidco bonus will then be paid to your account, within 2 weeks of this.

Conclusion

It’s interesting to see a flat rate of IHG cashback being trialled here – the rate usually varies widely depending on the brand.

Was planning on booking some Intercontinentals, but then decided against it when I saw they were cutting the cashback to 9%.

Also, I’m not sure if this is a policy change as the standard casback used to be 8% – then it suddenly dropped to 6 on both quidco and topcashback.

Yeah, they seem to be trying some different things (the city-based bonus cashback we saw a little while ago, in particular, seemed like it was just asking for tracking trouble).
