The ‘Black Friday’ deals are starting to come thick and fast now. We’ll do our best to keep you up to date with the very best and this one is a cracker: £250 return between Manchester and Houston on Singapore Airlines. That’s basically low-cost-carrier money for one of the best Economy experiences in the air!

Travel dates are from 18th January 2018 till 28th March 2018 . The (rather confusing) terms state the price is correct as of 23rd November, but later on suggest that the offer isn’t supposed to start until Saturday (25th November 2017) – obviously that doesn’t make a great deal of sense as a ‘Black Friday’ deal. If you’re interested, I would simply have a look now and keep checking whenever you have a quiet moment.

Anything else?

Yep, according to the terms, the “first 50 customers to book a Manchester to Houston flight at singaporeair.com will receive a £50 high street voucher and a free Houston CityPASS“. A high street voucher is basically as good as cash for most of us at this time of year, effectively bringing the cost of the flights down to £200!

I don’t know much about Houston CityPASSes, but Google informs me they cost $59 if you wanted to buy one, so that’s potentially a nice bonus too.

Note that you need to email your booking reference to [email protected] in order to qualify.
There are also some pretty solid fares from Manchester/London to Asia available, if you’d rather head East:

Conclusion

£250 for direct return flights from the UK to Texas is a good deal on any airline – on Singapore it’s a great deal. If you can get a £50 voucher and the Houston CityPass, even better!

Have you flown on the Manchester-Houston route yet? What did you think?

Thanks for sharing this incredible deal but unfortunately when you click through the link it appears I’m 12 months too late.

Haha – it definitely says “Book your 2017 travel now” (and was being actively promoted this week by Singapore), but yes it looks like they’ve either written the terms wrong or just copy and pasted the ones from last year. 🙂
