Ibis Hotels (part of the Accor group) has an interesting offer on at the moment – but only if you’re aged between 18-26!

The image above suggests that room prices are between 30-60 Euros per person, but I’ve found cheaper and more expensive rooms under the offer when searching, so I’m not really sure what that refers to.

The terms and conditions don’t mention price either unfortunately.

What I do know is that there are some good deals available, as long as you stick to the following rules:

  • Search using this page here
  • Book by 15th May 2017
  • Stay from 1st July to 31st August 2017
  • All guests must be between 18-26 and be prepared to show ID confirming this.

The list of participating countries is eclectic –  ranging from Algeria and Benin to Spain and the Netherlands, via China, Mexico and Kazakhstan! There are ~40 countries in total, so you’re best having a look yourself to see if there’s anything that suits your travel plans.

If the 18-26 rate is available for the dates you want, you should see something like this when you click through:

It’s worth pointing out that I checked quite a few examples and the 18-26 rate wasn’t always the lowest rate, so do look at the other available rates.

Anything else?

Ibis is part of Accor, which means don’t forget cashback!

At the time of writing, TopCashback is offering the highest rate – 7.5% for Ibis stays.

If you’re new to TopCashback, sign up through our exclusive link and get 1,250 bonus Avios for spending £10 at any retailer on the site (1,050 Avios if you transfer after 20th May) – in addition to the standard cashback you would receive!

If cash is more your thing, new sign ups to TopCashback who register via this link will get £10 cash for spending £10 or more at any merchant on the site – including Accor.

    This is terrible age discrimination.
May as well say “No Irish, No Dogs, No Blacks” too like the bad old days 🙁

Haha, given I’m not quite as youthful as I once was, I’m half tempted to agree! – but I suppose student/under 25 discounts and pensioner/60+ discounts are quite common.

Because what every 18-26 year old visiting Barcelona wants to do is stay out in the far-from-public-transport-suburbs instead of Airbnb-ing a flat in the centre and partying all night…
