The Qatar Airways sale we previewed the details of last night is now live, and as suspected, there are some cracking Business Class deals – if you have a bit of flexibility.

We will be posting highlights from the sale as and when we find them or they surface elsewhere. The first one we want to share is from Oslo to Auckland, flying back from Auckland to Stockholm for an amazing price of just ~£1,440.

Remember to add the code VISA into the promo box when you begin your search in order to get the lowest possible price.

Search using the ‘Multi City’ function, entering Oslo to Auckland for your first flight and then Auckland to Stockholm for the second.

You might also be eligible for 5x Qmiles if you book today – you need to login into your account and check your personal promotions to see if you are eligible. It’s 5x base Miles, so by my calculation you would earn about 125,000 Qmiles in total!!

If you aren’t eligible, you can still either get double Qmiles (need to register through the promotions in your account), or credit the flights to BA Executive Club instead and end up with ~30,000 Avios and 600 Tier Points (enough for Silver status).

If you ever want to calculate how many Qmiles you will earn for other flights yourself the calculator is here and the BA calculator is here.

There is an additional offer for 2,000 bonus Qmiles for first online bookings too.

Bottom line

Getting to/from Oslo and Stockholm is cheap and easy using Avios or low cost carriers from most of the UK.

£1440 is an extremely good price for such long flights in Qatar’s excellent Business Class. The fact you can earn a massive stack of Miles and/or Tier Points just makes it even sweeter!
