Cashback site Quidco is currently offering 12% IHG cashback for all bookings at Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites (etc) hotels.
The boosted cashback rate (it’s normally 8%) is available until 17:00 tomorrow (17th January 2017).
Rival cashback site TopCashback doesn’t offer any cashback at all for IHG bookings at the moment, so 12% is a very decent rate.

Doesn’t it seem strange that Quidco can offer cahsback on IHG purchases but TopCashback don’t offer anything? You’d have thought if IHG had an affiliate sales programme (which they clearly do for Quidco to be working with them) then it would be open to both.

I noticed today you can earn Virgin Flying Club miles via Shops Away with IHG too, currently 4 miles per £, usually 2 per £. Clearly not as good as this 12% deal, but with the miles being transferrable to IHG (and status earning), it could be useful when there aren’t other IHG cashback opportunities around.
