Just a quick heads-up that you can get 100 free Hilton HHonors Points for signing up to ‘Thanks Again’.
In case you were wondering, ‘Thanks Again’ is an app that allows you to earn additional Points/Miles when shopping at airports.
100 Hilton HHonors Points? So what – that’s only worth about 40p!
Very true – but 40p worth of Points is still better than no Points, and it only takes seconds to sign up.
The real reason I’m posting this though is due to my recent hotel points saga with Marriott, where I temporarily had 120,000+ Points taken away. I’m a feeling a bit more protective of my Points/Miles than usual at the moment and am very keen to make sure none of you lose yours by forgetting about expiry rules.
The 100 free Hilton HHonors Points will reset the expiry clock on your account for another 12 months, so if you haven’t had any activity on your account recently, this is well worth doing for that reason alone.

You actually get 100 ‘Thanks Again Points’ and can choose from a list of partners where to transfer them – Hilton is just an example.
You could choose to transfer to United MileagePlus, American AAdvantage, Alaska Mileage Plan etc, instead if your Miles expiry clock is running down on one of those accounts.
Bottom line
Having Points/Miles expire is really annoying. This is a quick, easy and free way to prevent that from happening for a decent range of loyalty programmes.
Cheers Joe, just signed up redeemed to HH then got a 100 pts survey which was a one ticket box completed for another 100 pts sent over to AA @ 50 miles.
Check your accounts for the survey as mine showed up immediately after redeeming the first 100 HH.
