Amazing Hotel Prices With Accor ‘Happy Mondays’ Glitch!

Accor’s weekly ‘Happy Mondays’ promotion is one of my favourite UK hotel deals, and one I’ve covered in detail before.

Ordinarily, you can only book on a Monday or Tuesday each week for the following weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), which is quite limiting – but the discounts can be massive!

Ibis Hotels outside of central London are just £25.00, while a stay at a Novotel or Mercure outside London will set you back £40.00.

In central London, Ibis Budget hotels are £25.00, Ibis hotels £40.00, and Mercure + Novotel hotels are £60.00.

Decent city centre hotels for £25.00-40.00 are an absolute steal, particularly on Saturday nights when standard rates are often north of £100.00. In London, the effective discount compared to standard rates can easily work out at more than 70%!

Happy Mondays’ is great – but if you read InsideFlyerUK you probably already know that, so what’s new…

The one significant downside with Happy Mondays is that the rates are only available for the following weekend. Booking further in advance, or for weekdays, is impossible…

Except that, right now that isn’t true

Yep – at the moment ‘Happy Mondays’ rates are coming up for every day from this Friday (15th July) until Monday 25th July!

As you can see below, the Ibis Styles in Birmingham, for example, can be had for £25.00 on Tuesday 19th July, rather than £68.09.

To search for ‘Happy Mondays’ rates, click on “additional criteria” under the bit where you enter your loyalty card number on the search page, and then just type MONDAY in the preferential code box and search as normal.

I haven’t seen any announcement or promotion from Accor about this, so I’m assuming it’s a glitch. I’m also assuming that the rates will probably cease to be available at midnight tonight anyway (like usual with Happy Mondays rates) – so book now!

Finally, it’s worth pointing out that ‘Happy Mondays’ rates do count as qualifying nights for status, earn Accor Points, and you can still get cashback too!

Yep – will have an updated post about this very soon!

It’s always been a great promotion, and the changes make it unbelievably good. I wonder if it’s just for the summer or if they’ll keep it like this from now on.
