One of our very favourite airlines, Etihad, is currently running an “up to 50% off” sale on Business Class flights from the UK (London, Edinburgh and Manchester).

You need to book by 11 July for travel between 8 July and 30 September 2016. With Abu Dhabi/Dubai from £1175, India at £1300 and Bangkok from £1477 there are some very good, if not quite spectacular, deals in there.

As you can see, in some cases the emphasis appears to be heavily on the “up to” rather than the “50%”, but the Middle East, India and some of the Asia flights are heavily reduced.

While these are certainly not the sub-£1000 prices you can sometimes get with an ex-EU Qatar long haul Business Class flight, they are extremely solid value, and the ease of departing from London, Edinburgh or Manchester (as opposed to, say, Copenhagen!) should not be altogether overlooked.
