Niche hotel chain Worldhotels is set to launch a “flash sale” for this weekend only, offering 40% off at its global range of hotels.

Worldhotel deals

While Worldhotels has a bias towards Europe and Asia, there’s a decent selection of properties to choose from. You will need to book on Saturday 30 or Sunday 31 January and the discount is, as ever, subject to availability. We suggest having a look to see what’s available as soon as you can tomorrow.

Meanwhile, this is a very timely reminder that the excellent Hilton Winter Sale is set to send on 31 January.

Offering up to 35% off at Hilton Group hotels globally, this is another sale that is well worth a look. I have made some great savings on various stays throughout 2016, booked via this sale rate. While it technically applies to the weekend, we’ve had a lot of success booking it throughout the week – but it will depend on the property and, of course, availability.

Taking a very random example, here’s the Hilton Green Park, London, in February:

You can also combine the Hilton sale rate with the Hilton HHonors promo for Q1 2016: offering double points or double miles on your stay.

As a massive additional bonus, book your Hilton stay through Topcashback, and you’ll get an additional 18.9% of your spend returned as cashback!

While that rate apparently ends today, if you don’t have time to book it I would still check what the cashback rate is tomorrow and Sunday – there is likely to be something of note.

Bear in mind that Worldhotels does have a loyalty scheme, Peakpoints, and you can benefit from 300 free loyalty points if you sign up here. In addition, you will also earn air miles from a good range of airline partners with Worldhotels.

I understand that the promotion is live on Saturday and Sunday only. TGI Friday of course, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer 🙂

You could get a bed at the Hilton Amsterdam in their Winter sale, using Topcashback and getting double points. This of course being the hotel where John and Yoko staged their famous “bed-in for peace”, although I reckon they were just doing it to secure Diamond status.

😀 Thanks for your reply. It also made me smile 😀

Im looking for something cheep. Right now there’s the hampton by the airport. It’s for June. Do you think I should book now or wait?

I tend to agree with Mark. At €95 in the Winter Sale, I wouldn’t say the Hampton is particularly good value.

For what it’s worth, I’ve generally found the Park Inn by Radisson to be the best value Schiphol hotel, plus you can get 6.3% cashback on Topcashback.co.uk

That said, if you’re looking for something cheap, there’s a never ending number of options in Amsterdam. A quick look at Agoda (again, 6.3% cashback on TCB) shows rooms starting at £35 a night in June.
